Joe Filoseta
President and Chief Executive Officer
Joe brings to DepotPoint his extensive experience in the financial services industry. Before joining DepotPoint, Joe served as executive vice president and general manager of the Mortgage Solutions Group of Harland Financial Solutions. Harland's Mortgage Solutions Group is a leading provider of loan origination and loan servicing solutions. Joe introduced the industry leading E3 .Net loan origination system and the ecommerce portal E3Connect. Today over 450 lenders across the United States and Puerto Rico use E3 in daily production.
Prior to Harland, Joe was division President within First American Real Estate Information Services, Inc. He lead the development of a new array of default mortgage-related products and services. Over a five year period, through acquisition and internal growth, the division attained revenues approaching $100 million. As a direct result of this success and the leadership role of the First American Corporation, Joe enjoys relationships with mortgage banking executives across the nation.
Prior to First American, Joe has held a number of senior management positions during his 20 years in the mortgage and financial services industry, including senior vice president of business development with ALLTEL/CPI (now Fidelity National/LPS, Inc.) in Jacksonville, Florida where he directed the marketing of both origination and servicing EDI and Origination system software. While at ALLTEL/CPI he grew EDI revenues by two-fold while developing broad relationships with senior client executives of ALLTEL/CPI. Prior to that as president of Cybertek-Cogensys Corp. he helped pioneer the development of automated underwriting systems for mortgage origination and developed a "who's who" client list including both GSE's, all the major MI companies and several leading mortgage companies. Joe also developed a global perspective of the financial services industry as director of U.S. financial marketing for Wang Laboratories. Best of breed applications in Banking, Brokerage and Insurance were showcased in the New York applications competency center that he created and directed. Joe began his ten-year career at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York where he held positions in International Banking, Consumer and Private Banking International.
Venetia Kontogouris
Venetia Kontogouris joined Trident Capital in 1999 as a Managing Director. Before Trident, Ms. Kontogouris was an executive from 1983 to 1995 of Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and related entities, including IMS Health Incorporated and Cognizant Corporation. She was also president of Enterprise Associates, LLC, the venture capital division of IMS Health Incorporated, where she represented Enterprise Associates in respect to its partnership interest in Information Associates and Information Associates-II (Trident’s Fund II and Fund III). Prior to Enterprise Associates, LLC, Ms. Kontogouris was senior vice president, Venture Development, at Cognizant Corporation, where she represented Cognizant in the Information Partners Capital Fund formed by Dun & Bradstreet and Bain Capital. She has held executive positions in new product development and marketing at D&B and sales management positions at AT&T and IBM. She has also launched her own start-up telecommunications company.

(acquired by Extraprise, Inc.), Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH), C-7 Group, Inc., CrossMedia Services (acquired by a consortium of major national newspaper groups), Customer Analytics, Inc. (acquired by Exchange Applications), eCredit.com, Inc. (acquired by Internet Capital Group), eData Resources, Inc. (acquired by The Daily Mail), Event Zero, Internet Profiles Corporation (acquired by CMGI), Jostens Learning Corporation, OneSource Information Services, Inc. (ONES), T.R.A.D.E., Inc., Vality Technology, Inc. (acquired by Ascential Software (ASCL)), Viant Corporation (VIAN) (acquired by Divine), and Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates.
Ms. Kontogouris earned her B.A. from Northeastern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Mark Ashida
Mark Ashida joined OVP Venture Partners in 2007 and focuses on investments in infrastructure and enterprise software.
Prior to joining OVP, Mark served as General Manager of Windows Enterprise Networking at Microsoft Corp., where he drove all development, testing and product management for Microsoft networking infrastructure and authentication servers, representing over $450 million in enterprise sales. In particular, Mark drove Network Access Protection (NAP), a major new networking initiative done in partnership with Cisco and over 150 security and networking companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mark was Chief Operating Officer at InterTrust, a public company. InterTrust provided secure trusted computing for web services and distribution and was the leading company in digital rights management. The company was sold to Sony and Philips for $450M in 2002.
Before joining InterTrust, Mark was a General Manager at Intel Corporation, launched two companies in the digital media space, and served as interim CEO for multiple technology companies. Early in his career, he was a partner at Deloitte and Touche/Braxton Associates strategy consulting practice. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Avenda Systems and Serus, and is a Board Observer to Lucid Commerce, Tzero, Collaborative Software Initiative, CarbonFlow and Napera Networks.
Mark received his undergraduate degree from Pomona College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
James G. Jones
Jim Jones has more than 30 years of management experience in commercial banking, consumer lending, payment processing and related financial services. At Citigroup, Crocker, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Providian and GMAC-Residential Capital he directed various business lines, including: Branch Banking, Direct Retail Banking (Call Centers, On-Line Banking, Military Banking) Services Management (IT, Item Processing, Cash Management, Accounting and Reconcilement, Property Management), Consumer Credit (Residential Mortgage, Auto Dealer Finance, Consumer Lending, Student Lending, Manufactured Housing), Commercial Real Estate, Payment Services (Credit Card, Commercial Card and Merchant Acquiring), and Insurance (Agency and Life).
Mr. Jones has also served on numerous public and private boards of directors. In addition to Depotpoint, he also served on the board of Visa-USA, E-Loan, BA Merchant Services, Residential Capital, and Bank of America, NA (credit card bank). He currently serves on the boards of: DepotPoint, Merchant e-Solutions, Bora Payment Systems, Ready Financial, Advanced Payment Solutions (London) and Community Lend (Toronto).
Mr. Jones has a BA degree from Washburn University, an MA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MBA from the University of Kansas.
