UI Specialist
DepotPoint is searching for a
great UI Specialist who is passionate about easing the path for our
customers to interact with our web sites. DepotPoint has a number of
interrelated suites of web applications and we want you to continually
push the limits of your skills. We want you to have real input into
our web site tradeoffs and business decisions. To achieve our goal of
opening the foreclosure market to all, we need exceptionally talented,
curious, and driven people. As a startup company, we are looking for
a dynamic, organized, self-starter that can help build and drive the
web site design for all DepotPoint products.
The User Interface Specialist
is responsible for the underlying architecture of the user interface
of the various web sites, and implementing specific designs for each
web site. The position requires a candidate who has the ability to understand
the needs of the interactions on the web sites, the ability to design
a HTML and CSS framework for those interactions, and then implement
the design for each suite of web sites. You must be capable and motivated
to work in the trenches while also designing the framework for site.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding the scope
of customer and marketing requirements for the DepotPoint suites of
web sites.Â
- Working with Product
Management to drive list of specific interactions on the specific sites.
- Rapid prototypes to
drive consensus around specific interactions.
- Designing standards-compliant
HTML and CSS frameworks so that our customers get the efficacy they
want, the marketing team gets the flexibility they desire and back-end
developers can deliver the data in a cost-effective manner.
- Work with the other
stakeholders to deliver an effective implementation of the design within
the constraints of cost and time.
- Proactively root out
problems with the site design and implementation.
- Fix issues in an efficient
and predictable manner when they are detected.
This position requires a candidate
who has the ability and aptitude to work in the trenches as needed and
to stay focused on the details while keeping in mind the overall UI
design goals. Strong communication skills as well as a strong technical
and analytical aptitude are required.
- Three or more years
experience in designing professional web sites.
- Demonstrated proficiency
with common web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
- Excellent problem-solving,
communication and organization skills.
- Creative, positive
outlook in dealing with complex projects and short time frames.
- Real estate or banking
industry experiences are a plus.

objectives.
Job Summary:
DepotPoint is looking for a self-directed Product Marketing Manager to drive site traffic, product enhancements, and test new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for direct marketing, be customer focused, metrics driven, and detail oriented.
This position will be measured by increases in revenue and improved conversion metrics. Your experience with other e-commerce or lead generation sites will help you rapidly define, execute and measure test marketing programs. Your search and online marketing experience will help you tune the performance of our existing online traffic channels and help identify new traffic sources and programs. Your excellent analytic and communication skills will help you convince a resource tight team to broadly implement your most successful programs.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with sales/customer service/consumers/vendors to obtain product feedback
