have two decades of experience building solutions that shaped and
defined several online market spaces. The DepotPoint team brings
together professionals with extensive experience in building web
services applications, online payment systems, enterprise tracking
solutions and real estate management services.
The DepotPoint Service Team includes specialists with extensive
knowledge of the mortgage and real estate industry. These individuals
with a typical experience base of 20 years, have expertise in a broad
range of activities including: Judicial & Non-Judicial Foreclosure,
Title Claims, Debtor Disputes, Process Serving, and Posting &
Publication Administration.
Prakash Kondepudi
President and Chief Executive Officer
Prakash Kondepudi has a 20-year track record of creating and leading successful, high-value
business ventures and penetrating new markets with technology innovation. Mr. Kondepudi's
background also includes bringing technology innovation to the following markets: electronic
payment processing, online payment transactions and online Yellow Pages and wireless data
solutions. Notably, he was the architect of the Verifone Electronic Payment Gateway that
revolutionized the credit card processing industry.
Prior to founding DepotPoint, Mr. Kondepudi was executive vice president at Infospace Inc.,
where he led the payment business unit known as Authorize.Net and the merchant business
division overseeing online Yellow Pages, Integrated Store Front, Stored Value and Shopping
technology businesses. In 2004, Mr. Kondepudi led the sale of the Authorize.Net business
to LightBridge for an all-cash deal valued at $82 million. Prior to Infospace, he served as
vice president at Saraide Inc., a wireless data company overseeing wireless application
services and content business development. Mr. Kondepudi holds a Master's in Technology
from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in India.
Chris Matty
Chief Marketing Officer
Chris Matty is an Internet technology veteran and founder of one of the more successful
early Internet companies, InfoSpace. In 1999, Infospace was the number one performing stock
on the NASDAQ Index, and continues to thrive today with a valuation of close to $1 billion.
Mr. Matty has held executive management positions at various technology companies.
At InfoSpace he ran business development and strategy where he structured the original
partnerships for private-label web solutions for many of the largest companies on the web,
including AOL, Microsoft, Disney's GO Network, Snap, ABC and many others. Prior to joining
InfoSpace, Mr. Matty worked within a division of McCaw Cellular, which was acquired by AT&T.
His diverse background also includes experience in the aerospace and energy industries.
Mr. Matty holds an electrical and computer engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Tom Gordon
Executive Vice President, Business Solutions
Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the information and risk management industry,
Mr. Gordon is a seasoned executive having built successful businesses at organizations like
Equifax Inc., a global leader in information services, T.R.A.D.E. Inc., and Carreker Corp.,
now part of CheckFree Corp. At DepotPoint, Mr. Gordon will drive enterprise demand for the
company's Web-based solutions, providing mortgage lenders, law firms, and REO organizations
with creative solutions that ease the pain associated with managing default portfolios.
Most recently, Mr. Gordon was the executive vice president for the risk solutions group
at Carreker, the leading provider of check fraud software serving over 250 banking centers
worldwide. He also served as CEO of T.R.A.D.E. Inc., growing the company's customer base
to 600 clients in 28 countries and ultimately negotiating the sale of the company to its
major competitor. Prior to this, Mr. Gordon held various executive level positions at Equifax,
where he was charged with growing new divisions, expanding their corporate presence,
unifying solutions, and driving profitability.
Dipan Dewan
Vice President, Technology and Product Development
Dipan Dewan brings 18 years of software engineering experience to DepotPoint on a
variety of products and services, with the last 14+ years at Microsoft. At Microsoft,
Mr. Dewan developed products like MS Schedule+ and Mail, Exchange Server and bCentral.
His passion for Web Services was triggered when he was leading the integration effort
for Commerce Server. Most recently he was Development Manager of the MSN Money Professional
service at Microsoft, where he led the implementation and deployment of the hosted web
service starting from the concept stage. Mr. Dewan holds a Masters in Technology from the
Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in India.
Tom Boboth
Vice President, Foreclosure Advocacy
Tom Boboth is a 20 year veteran in real-estate investing and real estate financing
industries. He founded Pacific Shoreline Mortgage, Inc. and Greater Shoreline Investments,
Inc. and handled various investment dealings in distressed properties and associated real
estate land development projects. He built relationships with several investors as partners
for his companies. His experience includes research, evaluation and assessment of real
estate investment opportunities in Washington, Arizona, Texas, Nevada, Montana, Idaho and
California. Prior to this, Mr. Boboth held management positions at companies in the
manufacturing and insurance sectors.
Mr. Boboth brings unique experience of what it takes to be a successful investor in the real
estate industry. Mr. Boboth also brings with him the ability to foresee and visualize various
aspects of tracking in the Real Estate market place.
Avinash "Avi" Heroor
Director of Operations
Avinash "Avi" Heroor brings 12 years of software development and
operational experience in electronic payments, wireless data and online
payment solutions.
Prior to DepotPoint Inc. Mr. Heroor was Director, Operations and
Engineering Services at Authorize.Net, a business unit of Lightbridge
Inc and a leading provider of online payment services. He also served as
acting Chief Security Officer for the business unit with responsibility
for IT security and compliance with the provisions of both the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act. and Visa's Cardholder Information Security Program.
While at Authorize.Net, he built the IT Operations team and lead the IT
integration after it's acquisition by Lightbridge Inc. Before
Authorize.Net, he was with 2Roam Inc. a startup providing wireless data
solutions where he held positions in software development and quality
assurance.Prior to that, Mr. Heroor was with VeriFone Inc. and held
positions in software development and the Professional Services
organization. While in the professional services organization, he helped
gather requirements, design and implement several solutions for large
financial institutions and retailers.
Mr. Heroor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering
from the University of Mysore in India.
